pay $5 for a lifetime card (if you lose the card,
it's a buck to replace). I showed the librarian
my handicap placard, and the fee got waived.
It worked well enough.

It's happening fairly frequently. I try to remember
to put airplane mode on when I'm not actively using
the Internet, but I forget all too frequently.
