addition to the plethora of onions, the funkiness
of the sour cream that made it so good. Yes, I
    suffered afterward.
It does sound good. Or bad, depending on how one looks at it.
    Hindsight is 911.
Hopefully preventing further calls to said line.

    Just giving you the 411.

I wouldn't trade my ailments and infirmities,
numerous though they are, for yours.
Probably safer not. OTOH I can eat dairy.

I'm on my way to visit Lilli in Austin as I type.
I'm taking the wrong carryon, the one without the
lactase pills. Luckily, Austin is better known for
its bovine flesh than its dairy products. Priorities
    and all that.

I can fly over most things besides the Kremlin, the
    White House, and Roswell.
And New York City, at least for a while.

I saw the 9/11 light memorial from the air. Quite
    spectacular and rather moving.

    Explain giraffes, please.

    Well, they're good at necking.
Also a good substitute for scaffolding if you could teach them to
    wash windows.
I've heard of that - wasn't it Roald Dahl's idea?
    Dr Dolittle's cleaning service franchise?

I'm unfamiliar with that good medic. I presume
    that he did little.

Of that I have no doubt. If he could find a way to do the wrong
thing, he probably did it. If he couldn't think of one, he took
    it
    as a challenge.
We have had a number of politicians over the years
about whom one could say that.
I think half of them were elected to public office in Connecticut.
At least two were re-elected after they got out of the joint for
crimes committed on the first go-round.

There have been those who have ridden the merry-go-round
between public office and prison a number of times.

    Title: Home-Made Ginger Beer
    Categories: Beverages
    Servings: 1

    2 oz Fresh ginger
    2 Lemons
    1 ts Cream of tartar
    1 lb Sugar
    1 ga Boiling water
    1 oz Yeast

This home-brew remains a favourite party drink in a Welsh household for
both adults and children. You will need eight pint bottles or four quart
bottles. They should be of a strong material and have firm caps with
metal springs to imprison the effervescent liquid - it's more explosive
    than champagne. Makes 1 gallon.

Roughly crush the ginger root. Wash and slice the lemons into thick
rings. Put the ginger, lemon, cream of tartar and sugar in a large bowl.
Pour the boiling water over. Stir and leave to cool to blood
    temperature.
Stir in the yeast. Leave to ferment for 24 hours. Skim off the yeast.
Strain and bottle the liquid. Leave for three days before broaching it.

    Title: Bourek (Beef-Stuffed Pastry Rolls)
    Categories: Algerian, Groundmeat, Holiday, Beef
    Yield: 6 Servings

    1/4 c Vegetable oil
    1 Small Onion;chopped(1/4 cup)
    1/2 lb Ground beef
1/2 ts Salt; or to taste
    1/4 ts Black pepper
    1 Egg; beaten
2 tb Flat leaf parsley; chopped
    6 Phyllo sheets; 12x17" ea
    Lemon wedges for serving

When the fast of Ramadhan is broken in the early evening hours,
various dishes are considered a traditional part of the meal. This is
    one of those dishes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a skillet, add the onion and
stir-fry over moderate heat for 2 minutes. Add the beef, salt and
pepper and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add the egg and parsley and fry
for 1 minute more. Cool well.

Take 1 phyllo sheet and spread it out flat with a short end
nearest you. Place 2 heaping tablespoons of the beef mixture 2 inches
in from the short edge. Fold both long sides in toward the middle,
beginning with the short end roll the phyllo to shape a packet 4
inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. Repeat with all the remaining
phyllo sheets and stuffing. Set aside.

Put the balance of the oil in a skillet over moderate/low heat and
add the rolls. Brown on both sides for about 3 minutes; the low heat
prevents the very thin pastry sheets from burning. Drain the rolls on
    paper towels for a minute.

Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon juice.

I did not realise that your state was as corrupt as mine - even without factoring in Chicago.

I was asked to sign a petition supporting term limits once. I told the
pollster "We already have term limits. Two in office, one in prison".

There are currently two former governors in the Federal joint in Terre
Haute, IN. One from the elephant party and one from the donkey party.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Donkey Balls
Categories: Five, Breads, Pork, Cheese, Appetisers
    Yield: 48 Rolls

    16 oz (2 tubes) butter-flake
    - crescent rolls
16 oz Cream cheese; softened, (NOT
    - fat free)
    1 lb Roll breakfast sausage

Take the sausage and cook in pan until browned & lightly
crisp. Drain fat in jar, or choose to mix it in for
    extra goodness in the recipe

While sausage is cooking, unwrap cream cheese and place
in mixing bowl then mix generously with sausage. Can
add diced onions or seasoning for extra flavour, but
this recipe is good enough to stand without additional
    ingredients.

Take crescent rolls and lay flat out taking each
individual triangle and cutting them in half (if not
careful you may need to knead triangle into small
    circles for best effect.

Take a teaspoon of the mixture and spoon a little at a
time into each crescent roll then wrap mixture up into
little ball making sure that mixture is sealed inside
(you do not have to keep it completely covered but it
creates less mess eating it that way)

Place balls individually on each 2 cookie sheets then
bake at 350°F/175°C for approx 8-10 minutes. If you
have a particularly fast oven bake at 8 min taking care
    not to burn bottoms.

Cool for about 2-3 minutes and enjoy. With 2 tubes of
crescent rolls should make about 48 balls or roughly
    enough for 8-10 people.

Warning: Do not expect leftovers as these go very, very
fast. Luckily as you can see for yourself they are easy
to make. And everyone will think you are just so clever
for combining 3 very delicious things together.
