now, who knows (I havent had McDonald's
coffee in close to fifty years.
I haven't been to the US in a decade, but if you do get to Canada
the McDonald's coffee will impress you. From what I can gather from
other people in the echo it's the same in the USA as well, I just can't
guarantee that.
The only person on this echo who has
significant transborder experience is
myself, and I tend not to do McDonald's
or coffee. Love the taste (of coffee at
least), but it's not too great for my
mental or physical health.
Capon˙s Streusel Nut Coffee Cake

yield: 1, serves 12 to 16
1/3 c butter
1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1 ts baking powder
3/4 ts salt
1/2 ts baking soda
1/2 ts nutmeg
2/3 c sour cream
h - Topping
1/2 c brown sugar
1/3 c flour
1/3 c butter, softened
2 ts cinnamon
1 c chopped nuts
Combine topping ingredients.
Cream butter, sugar and eggs together for batter
(mixture will appear curdled). Sift together dry
ingredients; add alternately with sour cream,
mixing well. Spread half the batter in a greased
8 1/2" round or 9" square baking pan. Sprinkle
with half the topping mixture. Cover with
remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining
topping. Bake at 350F for 25 to 30 min until cake
is brown and tests done. Serve warm.
