    after you had your head stitched up?

    Ah, that was interesting. A friend wanted
    me to look at a violin for her daughter, and
    I said, sure, come on over. I had a link to
    the photo, but at some time that link expired,
    and I don't have access to the picture any
    more. Could you save a copy for me?

    I grabbed this recipe because I was amused by the specification of
    "liquid honey". Is there any other kind that folks might use?

    2 tb Liquid honey

    Probably as opposed to comb honey, which no
    sensible person would use, or perhaps
    creamed (crystallized with small crystals)
    honey, which no practical cook would use,
    but there are plenty of unsensible and
    impractical people out there. It's the
    recipe writer covering his/her bases; same
    with specifying "plain yogurt" and other
    things that should be obvious but all too
    often aren't.

    Title: Brown Seed Bread
    Categories: Breads
    Yield: 1 servings

    2 c Flour, all purpose 1 c Whole wheat flour
    1 c Natural bran 1 c Quick cooking rolled
    oats
    2 tb Sesame seeds 2 tb Poppy seeds
    1 tb Baking powder 1 1/2 ts Baking soda
    1 ts Salt 1/4 c Liquid honey
    2 c Plain yogurt

    In large bowl, combine all-purpose and whole wheat flours, natural bran,
    rolled oats, sesame and poppy seeds, baking powder, baking soda and salt;
    stir in honey. Add enough of the yogurt to make sticky dough. Knead
    lightly
    in bowl until dough is well blended. Fit dough into one greased 9x5 in.
    (2L) loaf pan.

    Bake in 375F oven for 40 min., or until tester comes out clean.

    Title: MIXED GRILL WITH LIME AND CHILI MAYO
    Categories: Bbq, Seafood, Meats, Herb/spice
    Yield: 4 Servings

    8 Jumbo shrimp, peeled &
    -deveined
    8 Scallops
    4 Chicken strips
    8 Sausage chunks, spicy or
    -mild or mixed
    Garlic butter & lemon

    MMMMM-------------------LIME-CHILI MAYONNAISE------------------------
    1 1/2 c Mayonnaise
    2 Jalapenos (or more) minced
    1 t Grate lime zest
    Juice of 1 lime
    1 T Cilantro leaves, chopped

    Mix all the Mayo ingredients and keep refrigerated.

    Skewer the shrimp, scallops, chicken & sausage on wood or metal BBQ
    skewers in random order. Grill over med-hi heat for 5-6 minutes per
    side, brushing lightly with the garlic butter, and occasionally drip
    a little lemon juice on them if desired.

    Serve the grilled items with the mayo as a dipping sauce. Add bread
    and a salad for a complete easy meal.
