    lack of insection facilities that do the shreding or is it some other

    Title: Smothered Potatoes
    Categories: Potato
    Yield: 4 Servings

    -cooking oil
    4 Red potatoes, cut into
    - 1 Inch cubes
    1 Onion, chopped
    1/2 Green bell pepper, cored,
    -seeded, and
    -chopped
    -water
    -salt (to taste)
    -black pepper (to taste)

    In a cast iron pot with a lid, heat the oil. Add the cubed
    potatoes. Cook the potatoes until browned. Add the onions, bell
    pepper, and a little water. Cover the pot. Simmer until the
    potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally. Season with the salt
    and pepper to taste.

    Serve with R-MARINATED PORK CHOPS.

    It's probably all of the above, depending. Some of the anti-caking
    ingredients may be the culprits; a lot of those are made with some kind
    of wood fiber and may not be certifiable, although there is at least one Kosher brand that comes shredded. At a crazy price. The big ones
    however aren't.
