I wonder if it was a better beer back when it was a small regional
company. It certainly had a mystique in the past. Burt Reynolds and
Sam Elliot certainly made it sound like something special but the
actual taste was a letdown. (I prefer bold, hoppy beers that you
would probably detest.)

Title: Bratwurst Supper

Yield: 4 Servings
1 lb Bratwurst; sliced
2 Onions; sliced
1/2 sm Cabbage; in 4 wedges
3 Apples; sliced
1/4 c Oil
1 ts Caraway seeds
1 c Beer
Heat oil in a large pot. Saute onion, cabbage and caraway seeds
until onion is wilted. Add the apples, sausage, and enough beer to
moisten. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, until
cabbage is tender. Serve with rye bread, mustard and more beer.
