  • 688 question about 2018 picnic dates

    It appears to me that there are several acceptable
    sets of dates among those who have been in touch
    with me -

    I propose we take a poll on these weekends:
    8/17-19
    8/24-26
    9/7-9

    If anyone has reason to object to the dates I
    suggest above, speak now or forever hold your
    peace. I need to get my schedule set pretty soon;
    Labor Day weekend is probably inconvenient for
    many, and I want to be out of the country by
    9/15 for some weeks.

    We can deal with location afterward.

    I am also taking comments on the possibility
    of having the 2019 picnic earlier in the year
    if in the south - May, perhaps.

    At this point, all are fine with us. We are looking at several coach
    tours, but are uncertain as to what dates we might select.

    I am also taking comments on the possibility
    of having the 2019 picnic earlier in the year

    That far in advance, we would have nothing booked -- Yet.

    This is our first choice.

    8/24-26


    9/7-9

    Our second choice. First choice, we would be heading south from the trip
    to VT and visiting friends/family.
