    Hi Nancy,

Maybe... They stopped making the tube biscuits I liked... (G)
I never did use the tube biscuits. I think the baking mix recipe
is in "Mother's In The Kitchen" if you still have your copy of
that. If not, I'll post the recipe for you.
I still have my copy... Just don't have all the ingredients for
them on hand any more unless I make a special effort to get
    them...

I keep the ingredients on hand as a matter of course. If you
don't use the whole wheat flour very often, keep it in the fridge
for freshness. If you really don't use a lot of it, freeze it.

I tried keeping it in the fridge, and it only took up room I needed
for other stuff... same with keeping it in the freezer... If I were wanting to use it, I'd get it fresh, in a small quantity...

I know the space crunch. Right now my flours (ww and ww pastry) are on
top of the freezer as the fridge is just full enough.........

The tube biscuits I liked were a special variety from
Pillsbury, that had no preservatives and only natural
ingredients... forget the name, something like Pure and Simple
    or something wholesome sounding... (G)

I wouldn't know. We did find some Annie's (as in Annie's mac & cheese Annie) tube cinnamon rolls in the Hanniford's in Oneonta. Did see them down here in one of the stores but I don't remember which one. We got
a tube (very rare for us) and Steve made them in the camper micro/convection oven.

I've seen those in our store from time to time... haven't tried
    them...

They're pretty good for a commercial product.

    Catch you later,

... One of these days, I'll quit procrastinating.
