Quoting Michael Loo to Nancy Backus on 02-08-19 06:15 <=-
Ouch, but good on the PT.... hopefully that will be of value...She had never been in a wheelchair before.Precautionary measure, or needed to get around...?
She couldn't take a step without apparently
severe pain. Now she's back and sent an
e-mail touting good news, but the good
news was that she has been approved for
all kinds of physical therapy.
We shall see. I'm going to be with her for
her first appointments.
I'm with Bonnie now, and that's another story; Is Bonnie doing ok...?
returning to Lilli's in a week.
More or less - her skin problem and her eye
problem seem to have resolved; now there's
just some roomatiz and the anxiety of seeing
her friends and colleagues going down the tubes
at an increasing rate.
I take it a trip here is being pushed further down the priorityOk... I'm overdue on checking up on Fords.... will try to get to that sometime soon....
list....?
It'll happen, but I have fairly pressing
obligations of various sorts at the moment.
There may be leftover bits of time for echo

What's bad, though, is when it is rather obvious to most that it is aAnd the counter to that is probably that that's what tenure's for.... I suppose one could pray for an early retirement to occur.... :)
bad match... except to the person him or herself..... ;0
I hate to say it, but that's what getting
fired is for.
Bad match plus tenure equals a really
bad match. I've seen those. They take it
out on their students.
Actually, that's doubtful. Any decent knife canI'll take your word for that, not being that accomplished a knife wielder....
make quick work of ginger even at the extreme
far end of edibility. In fact, woody is very
easy to deal with because it offers reasonable
resistance, helping control the size of the cuts.
Advice: get a good knife sharpener. I still
like the Chef's Choice.
... You have to ask children and birds how cherries and strawberries tasteAre there many left that would remember that....?
Overstatement, I think. And anyhow, you have to ask
very old people how strawberries should taste.
I remember strawberries from 60 years ago
and artEEsanal berries from more recently.
Never having been a real bird or a real
child, I can't speak from their points of
view, but to me fruit are decidedly
different from in my younger years.
