    Biter Cocktail
    Whence the name?
It's in The Savoy Cocktail Book by Harry Craddock but it's not clear
to me if he invented the drink or merely recorded a pre-existing
one. There's no explanation about the origin of the name.

Doesn't seem to have much bite; nor does it look
    to be particularly bitter.

I still have a lot of Chartreuse but am now out of both gin and
vodka, so I'm not sure what my next move shall be. I am dubious
about adding it to whisky even though it is done...

It might add to the natural woodiness of
whisky and maybe a balancing green herbality.
I think it might be good.

    Bishop
    1 oz bourbon
    1/2 oz sweet vermouth
    1 oz orange juice
    1 dash Yellow Chartreuse

But all the bishop drinks I've hitherto
seen are a mulled wine sort of thing.

    Tanqueray Ten ginfonk
    categories: booze
    servings: 1

    2 oz Tanqueray Ten
    kaffir lime leaves to taste
    2 ds chamomile bitters
    1/2 oz tangerine juice
    7 oz tonic water
    agave syrup to taste

Soak the kaffir lime leaves in gin overnight.

Strain and add gin to a pint glass filled with ice.

Add bitters, juice, and tonic. Sweeten to taste.
