  • Help testing Netmail

    Hi

    I've been following Avon's videos on configuring mystic bbs and I hop eI have setup Netmail correctly.

    Could somebody ping me a netmail to test my config (I've been having a little trouble trying to get areafix to work and I am wondering if it's my Netmail config that's wrong).

    I did send you a crash netmail but my mailer is unable to deliver it.

    My mailer called out to tribe.duckdns.org but is not getting a response.

    You can send a netmail to Deon's system and a bot will automaticly reply to you.

    Just address it like so:

    To: Ping
    Address: 21:3/100

    Subject and Body don't matter. It will reply with a copy of the message you sent.

    If you want to interactively test your netmailing, you can send a message to ping@21:3/100 (or 21:3/116 - my BBS), and my systems will reply to you via routed netmail.

    That way you dont need to wait for somebody to send you a message (or they send something but dont tell you to expect it :)

    Dang - my BBS is 2/116 not 3/116 :)
