• Loadable module filename length

    Digital Man,

    I'd like to add a few of my mods as loadable modules but I notice that some only allow 8 characters (like automessage) while others accept long file names. Will you be allowing the others to use LFN in the future?

    Yes, at some point. The original modules were just module names (limited to 8 chars), while newer ones allow a full command-line to be specified.

    Yes, at some point. The original modules were just module names (limited to 8 chars), while newer ones allow a full command-line to be specified.

    I'll be fixing that when the .cnf files migrate to some other config file format (e.g .ini) at some point.
