I have a error on multimail for qwk download packet from my bbs.
I try to determine if are multimail or synchronet bug.
I get lines with from "ERROR" and subject "MESSAGES.DAT" at Letters address to you.
Did anyone have this issue?

that certainly looks like multimail doesn't like your messages.dat file... what
QWK options do you have set? did it ever work properly? when did the problem start?

You have the source code? Perhaps you could find out why those errors are being printed? Or send an example packet to the MultiMail developer(s) and see what they have to say about it.

I found another weird issue at my qwk package.
I detect that are areas with duplicate id at the control.dat file, is this correct?
The areas of my "fidonet" group have same id's that Dovenet group.

If disable voting.dat option the issue is gone.
Yes, that makes sense.

It looks to me like you chose "static" QWK conference number allocations in SCFG->Message Areas for one or more message groups. Normally, these should be set to "Dynamic":

I see that my dovenet subboards have Qwk Conference number Static (with the number) and Storage Method are Self-packing
All of rest of are dynamic and fast-allocation
maybe these options are incorrect? and produce the duplicate areas at control.dat file?
