For some reason I keep getting this error. I looked it up the error and renamed the file then it came up again so i deleted it. but i am still having this error even after exiting the software and rebooting my system. any thoughts?

I renamed cryptlib.key file in the ctl dir as the website stated. I figured
the problem out earlyer today I had made a adjustment to the system password. and that through everything off. I assumed that would not be an isssue with other bbs software in the pass it was easy to change that password once in awhile for extra security without effecting other parts of the system.

The cryptlib.key file is encrypted with the system password. If you change the system password, you'll have to regenerate that file.

Thank you for that heads up DigitalMan :). Everything is back to normal. I would also like to thank everyone else that has helped me out with differnt things regarding synchronet. I really am thankfull for the supportive people here on doveNet
