How can I force synchronet (binkit) to force poll a hub?
With Vert I know I can touch qnets/vert.now - is there a similar
approach for fido?
You can poll a node from the command line using binkit by running.. exec/jsexec binkit -l 1:234/567

Got it, that's what I was after.
Is there a semaphore file that exists (or can be set up), for a single
FTN upstream hub - that when created will poll a hub? (eg: like touch vert.now)
I haven't tried it myself but I think you can create a second event similar to the binkpoll event called poll1234 perhaps with different command line options and then touch poll1234.now.
