That's probably not a fault of the device itself though. It just seems like
BBS-compatibleApple App Store called iSSH that was compatible with ANSI and

iPrompt is the successor and does a decent job of ansi telnet emulation. You can't up/download but who would ever want to.

One thing is, in generally I just don't really use a touch screen. I
fingerkeyboard doesn't have a stiff connection with the screen, so if you
smudges on the screen. So I tended to use it like a laptop - But its
pick it up, the keyboard will flop down unless you hold both the keyboardand the screen. I tended to use it like a laptop, and I
preferredlaptop. I know the Surface Pro has a stand, but I think laptops
to have an actual laptop rather than a tablet that can be used like a
areof a small screen for my liking.. Its small size does make
easier to pick up and move when I want to. Also, the Surface Pro has a bit
itones, IMO. There are some people I work with at work who have
easier to carry, but I like something with a bigger screen.
There are also laptops with touch screens. Lenovo makes some fairly good
aLenovo, but min doesn't have a touch screen.

The Microsoft Surface Pro is a lot like any Intel-based Windows system on
willdedicated computer to run the BBS on, which you can leave
be a good device for you. Though for a BBS, I think it's good to have a

24/7 for people to use, and you probably won't take it anywhere with you.

in my part of the world, I'd gladly offer a free netbook. Got a bucketload
SyncTerm and Multimail. That setup is what I use for on the road, combinedwith a 4G modem/wifi hotspot.

Correct. IBM still exists and continues to make business and computing products. One thing of theirs I've heard about is their 'Watson' artificial intelligence engine. And I have the Weather Channel app installed on my smartphone, and when I run it, it says "An IBM business".
