All these 3 platforms can run Synchronet BBS so I would say it is a legitimate question here.
eg: can you get by with only one button on your mouse and no backspace key? if so, then mac might be ok for you...

It already runs on an ARM processor. The fruity Pi boards are ARM
based, and I'm running Synchronet on my Banana Pi - this message is
proof that it's working. :)
