For some reason, the last few callers list at logon isn't being
updated. Is there a way I can remove that from the logon sequence??

There are now 2 logon lists: data/logon.lst and data/logon.jsonl

The logon.jsonl is the *new* way, which is updated by the latest logon.js (specifically, the call to bbs.mods.logonlist_lib.add()).

So... when you say it "isn't being updated", I would need to know *which* file isn't being updated.

Also, is it possible that you're logging in as sysop or a user in quiet mode, in which case, the logons may not be reflected in the logon list?

but it seems like it's the same data from the day before.

In c:\sbbs\data, it's logon.jsonl (last updated Oct. 4) -- the
logon.lst file has 0 bytes (last updated Oct. 7).

Also, I noted originally that the file directories were under c:\sbbs\data\dirs -- when I looked at the Windows 10 File Explorer the
other day, I noticed a NEW data\dirs directory under c:\sbbs\data -- and
I copied the entire file areas over to the "new area". I didn't think
the directories had changed.

Also, is it possible that you're logging in as sysop or a user in quiet mode

I'm logged on as my regular name (entering the sysop password), and
have the page bell turned off. This is because I'm usually involved in
ham radio traffic nets in the evenings, or trying to get some sleep. At
least (for now), the BBS computer is in the front room, and not in my
bedroom.

If you're expecting your sysop logins to appear in the logon list, then you'll need to set SCFG->System->Toggle Options->Include Sysop in Statistics to "Yes".
Normally, you don't want *your* logons to appear in the logon list.

That wasn't the issue. It used to be when I logged on, it'd say
"You're the first caller of the day", but even a subsequent logon didn't show my name". It's as if the daily caller totals aren't being reset
during the daily maintenance cycle.

Ah, do you have SCFG->External Programs->Daily Event set to "?logonlist -m"? "jsexec logonlist install" makes this configuration change for you. Perhaps that's all you need.
