    Hello everyone,

I noticed my posts have the PST time zone when I should be EST. I posted via MultiMail. I checked MM's .mmailrc but didn't see anything regarding time zones. I also checked my account on Vertrauen and can't seem to find where one would change their time zone.

So the question is, how do I go about chaging my time zone from PST to EST?

Vertrauen is on the west coast (currently, PDT), so when you post a message on Vertrauen, it's flagged as having been posted in current timezone.

Synchronet (and hence, Vertrauen) does support QWK extensions which indicate the timezone a message was posted in (http://wiki.synchro.net/ref:qwk), so if MultiMail supported these extensions (either kludge lines or HEADERS.DAT), then
    Vertrauen would
accept and use the specified time zone of the user/reader. So... best to make a
    feature request at https://github.com/wmcbrine/MultiMail

    You don't.

You're posting on a board (VERT) which is in the PST. Therefore
your posts will have the ..... PST timestamp.

    (Probably should actually be PDT).

Oh I see. I thought MM or the BBS adds my local time stamp.

    Cool thanks!

The only place that I have seen a time zone setting in in Synchronet's Configuration in System. It's like the third thing. Local Time Zone.

    Hope this helps.
