    Is any Synchronet SysOp running webv4 with https? I looked through the Synchronet BBS list but had no luck finding anyone. Please respond if you are. Thanks.

    Hmmmm.I had no trouble getting to the url above. Must be a browser thing.

    he didn't say there was trouble... he said it wasn't secure... i took that to mean that it was an https connection to the site which was secure but the browser was showing that some content was not secure...

    delete your datafiles for the msg subs manually.
    login to vert with your qwk account, change your pointer dates and then poll vert.

    I do, but I'm not using Synchronet's native HTTPS.

    webv4 is (almost) completely agnostic about whether it's served over HTTP or HTTPS. Any problems you're having are very unlikely to be related to the particular web UI you're using. The exception might be if you're having ftelnet problems.

    The browser is considering it insecure because there is mixed content (some resources being loaded over HTTPS, some over plain HTTP). In this case the offending content is from OpenWeatherMap, and I'm not sure how easy that would be to fix.

    That is odd. /shrug I just ran the Synchronet .js program that pulls the ssl from Let's Encrypt. Could be because the website accesses external stuff in a not secure way it's throwing up that error. The certificate is valid and working, your browser is
    just throwing up a warning.

    If I was a web nut I'd figure out why, but I don't care. If you want to tell me
    what's wrong, go for it. or let eC know, maybe it's something he can adjust.
