I just participated in a graduation yesterday and there were far more
"people of color" graduating than whites.

But how many of them had math and science degrees? There probably wasn't a single black face in the crowd. I've seen it for myself.
When I took Algebra, there were 5 or 6 blacks in the class.
When I took Trigonometry, there were two.
When I took Calculus, there were NONE.
The number of math/science degrees awarded to blacks in my graduating

You'd be wrong. There was about equal representation of "black" vs
white.
