Ministers are today set to approve a three-week extension to the UK's coronavirus lockdown amid warnings that the country will have to practise social distancing until a vaccine is found .
Professor Neil Ferguson said that Britons would have to maintain "a
significant level of social distancing, probably indefinitely" until that point.
Meanwhile, Health Secretary Matt Hancock warned that the number of deaths
were still "far too high" for any exit strategy to be set out, adding:
"We will not be returning… just straight back to exactly how things were before. This will take time.”
### - implicit in that, is the fact that a 'vaccine' is prolly at least a
year to 18-months away by all accounts, and that the current lockdown will
thus continue until that time?
it's gonna be like it is now for the next year to 18-months?? damn!
they'll all go nuts! (or 'more' nuts then heh)
plus that's assuming a vaccine can even be found that's effective!
what if there IS no 'vaccine', what then??
they don't mention that bit haha :)
