    after breathing ceases. It's very obvious when oxygenated blood
    stops circulating; all the pinkness of living flesh fades away.

    you can see that paleness in the hands before death

    Then there's the death rattle as the last breath leaves the body.
    There's no doubt in a natural death when someone has departed.
