The Dow Jones index finally topped 36,000 on Monday - two decades after
a notorious book predicted. record territory on the first trading day of November.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 94 points, or 0.26%, while the S&P
500 index and the Nasdaq Composite index advanced 0.18% and 0.63%, respectively. The Dow gained 190 points at its best levels of the day,
briefly climbing above 36,000 for the first time in its history.
