for hours, but...
SKIPPY/NOISY ON HOLD MUSIC IS WORSE THAN ANY HORROR TORTURE YOU CAN
IMAGINE!!!
My internet connection is to be upgraded. for the same price I will
have fiber and keep _A_ fixed IP address. OK speedup, yay. HOWEVER,
GETTING IT HAS INVOLVED 2 HOURS ON THE PHONE MOSTLY ON HOLD. *THAT*
part is DRIVING ME NUTS!
The skippy music - skips in audio are the WORST. Peoole will tolerate
skippy video and artifacts BUT NOT SKIPPY AUDIO. It happens sometimes
with the digital cable TV, too. I had a tech out TWICE to deal with
that kinda crap. IT IS VERY VERY VERY IRRITATING.
There is an EVEN MORE special place in hell for THOSE WHO DO NOT RECTIFY
SKIPPY AUDIO PROBLEMS IN THEIR NETWORKS!!! And on-hold music on the
phone is BAD ENOUGH _WITHOUT_ the skips, clicks, touch-tone beeps, and
other noise.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
