A rock singer moves into an old colonial mansion with her psychiatrist boyfriend (played by soft porn actor Andrew Stevens) only to find the
place is inhabited by the ghost of an old slave trader named Masterson.
Ghostly goings on subsequently ensue, as the kids toys come to life, the
guy hired to redecorate the place dies in a bizarre accident, she
experiences stranger nightmarish visions about the house's original
occupan and her boyfriends behaviour becomes increasingly erratic in
this late 80s knock off of "The Amityville Horror".
One things for sure, its not pigeons up in the old attic.
Directed by Richard Freidman, who went on to direct such "classics" as
DOOM ASYLUM and PHANTOM OF THE MALL, this wasn't bad, but was somewhat derivative of other haunted house movies of the era.
Interesting to note, the role of Masterson was played by a chap called
David Ramsey. But NOT same David Ramsey they have listed on the IMDB,
who was in Arrow. Who is far too young and the wrong skin colour to be
this chap. So god only knows who this guy was.
Worth a punt if you have 90mins to kill.
