4 years after the virus outbreak and Korea is still in quarantine. A
korean ex-soldier is struggling as a refugee in Hong Kong and is given an opportunity to earn some big money by returning to a Korean port where
there is a truck full of money. He is sent with 3 other people to find
it, get it to the dock and then use a satelite phone to call a waiting
ship to make the collection. The plan does not go smoothly.

This was not what I was expecting as a sequel. Whilst it is good, it
suffers from a number of problems (IMO) in terms of effects and
originality. Some examples being, a lot of the street scenes don't have
the greatest CGI and look like a video game as do the car chases (!) that
also have some questionable physics. And how many times have we seen a post-apocalyptic film that has a base run by bloodthirsty psychos that
    has an arena?

I guess you could compare the difference in tone from the first film as
similar to that of ALIEN and ALIENS, one being horror and the other being
an action film. Basically, if you watch it as a fast-paced OTT action
film you'll enjoy it. If you watch it as a sequel to TRAIN TO BUSAN
    you'll be disappointed.
